Introductory workshops

Introductory workshops provide an opportunity for disabled business leaders to find out more about accessing finance, exchange information and share experiences.

They are informative half day events involving group discussion, presentations and networking. In addition a limited number of 1 to 1 sessions with a Business Advisor will be available.

Funding workshops

These interactive workshops in accessible venues are to help disabled business owners identify potential sources of grant and loan funding to grow their businesses.

Some funds are borough or industry specific; others are targeted at special groups such as women business owners or BAMER business owners. Whatever your business, you will find out about potential sources of funds to grow your business and what you need to do to be eligible.

'Managing Personal Debt'
This special workshop, delivered by A4e, is for those with significant personal debt. We have noticed that some clients have experienced financial difficulties in the recession and find themselves with large credit card debts, rent or mortgage arrears, unpaid utility bills and more. This workshop will address the hard questions of how to talk to such creditors, how to manage your personal budget better and improve your credit rating, making you a more attractive proposition to funders.
